Sunfire GmbH
As one of the world’s most innovative companies, Sunfire today develops and manufactures systems for renewable industrial gas and fuel production. The solid oxide cells (SOCs) used for the conversion process are also used as generators to provide electricity and heat. Worldwide markets include also off grid applications e.g. for gas pipelines or telecommunication. Sunfire has long experience with more than three million hours of operation in the field.
Sunfire has a young, highly qualified team of more than 100 employees. Based in Dresden, Germany, Sunfire achieved revenues of multi-million Euro in Global Markets since 2011.
Sunfire was able to gain valuable knowledge and experiences within the micro-CHP market based on the participation in the projects Callux and ene.field as stack supplier of one of the system providers.
Role in the Project
Sunfire is one of the manufacturers in the project, supplying 500 units fuelled by LPG to customers without access to the natural gas grid as a supplier for specific OEMs. Sunfire will also support in analysis and dissemination activities.
